Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning and implementation of environmental education, as well as to find out the obstacles faced in the implementation of environmental education in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krembung. This research is a qualitative research. The research subjects used were teachers and students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krembung. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Test the validity of the data in this study using triangulation. From the presentation of data and discussion, the results of the research on environmental education planning at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krembung started from several steps which included selecting learning materials in elementary schools, then analyzing learning objectives and environmental education to be achieved. , it conducts a goal analysis of environmental problems that has been carried out with discussion, after evaluating the tool and the last is Making a concept map of living learning. The application of environmental education in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krembung refers to the indicators of environmental education in schools and in the classroom, mostly has been realized, including the habit of maintaining the maintenance and preservation of the school environment, Availability of garbage disposal and hand washing facilities, Energy saving habituation, habituation of separating types of organic and non-organic waste, Providing clean equipment cleaning, Programming to love a clean environment, cleaning the school yard. maintain evaluation tools and the last is to create a learning concept map oriented to environmental education.
