Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect and how much influence the experimental method has on student learning outcomes in science lessons on energy change at MI Ma'arif Sentul. The method used is a quantitative experimental method. By presenting an interesting method, it can improve student learning outcomes and increase enthusiasm for learning so that student learning outcomes increase. This can be proven by processing data from the results of research that has been carried out by researchers, the tcount value is 2,954 ttable 2.101 and the Sig value is 0.007 0.05, then the hypothesis of this study is Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is an effect of the experimental method on student learning outcomes at science subject matter of energy change at MI Ma'arif Sentul. Based on the results of the calculation of the simple linear regression test that has been carried out, it is obtained a value of 2,954 t table 2.101 and a Sig value of 0.007 0.05, which means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, the experimental method affects student learning outcomes because it makes the learning process more fun and not monotonous. The influence of the experimental method on student learning outcomes in science subjects material changes in energy at MI Ma'arif Sentul. Based on the N-Gain test that has been carried out, it obtained a value of 71.933% or 71.9% which is included in the fairly good category. In addition, the R square is 0.266 or 26.6%. Then it can be seen that the experimental method affects student learning outcomes by 26.6%
