Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and career development on employee engagement through job satisfaction as an intervention variable at PT. Erindo Mandiri (Aquase) Pasuruan.This study uses quantitative research with a structural equation modeling approach using the SmartPLS program. The sample in this study were 134 employees at PT. Erindo Mandiri (Aquase) Pasuruan with a random sampling technique and using a questionnaire in the data collection technique using a Likert scale.The results of this study indicate that, motivation has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, motivation has a significant effect on employee engagement, career development has a significant effect on job satisfaction, career development has a significant effect on employee engagement, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee engagement, job satisfaction mediates the effect of motivation on employee engagement, and job satisfaction also mediates the effect of career development on employee engagement.
