Abstract

I Research in Maahad attarbiyah lilulumidiniyah hi school , in learning Arabic language teaching to students VII mutawassitah maahad attarbiyah lilulumidiyah can see that the main obstacle for students is the lack of knowledge of vocabulary. because teachers use media such as ppt and picture cards that they teach. Learning media is considered too general and sometimes students feel bored and do not pay attention when the learning process takes place. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate Arabic learning media, so that students can improve their understanding of the vocabulary they are learning. In this study I used the type of research, classroom action research (CAR) with data collection techniques using written test observations and practical tests. The data that already exists in schools using simple formula data analysis techniques. At the initial observation stage, the grade VII student's grade VII Mutawassithah from the KKM determined and the student's anticipation during the learning process was still lacking. So the researchers used crossword puzzle learning media with the type of TPK research conducted by researchers in collaboration with Arabic language teachers. In the first cycle, the observation value of the post-test score was only 40%, so the collaborator researchers and teachers planned the second cycle, which in the second cycle showed a very good increase in the post-test observation score reaching 100%.
