Job Placement, Work Environment, and Satisfaction as Drivers of Employee Performance

Abstract
General background: Effective human resource management is essential for improving organizational performance, particularly through proper job placement and supportive work environments. Specific background: While the importance of aligning employee skills with job requirements is acknowledged, limited research explores the mediating role of job satisfaction in this relationship. Knowledge gap: The indirect influence of job placement, performance, and environment on employee outcomes via job satisfaction is underexplored. Aims: This research aims to determine the impact of job placement, employee achievement, and work environment on performance, with job satisfaction as a mediator. Results: Data analysis shows that job placement, employee performance, and work environment positively and significantly affect employee performance and job satisfaction, with job satisfaction also enhancing employee performance. Novelty: The study highlights the mediating role of job satisfaction in strengthening the effects of job placement, employee achievement, and work environment on performance. Implications: Focusing on job satisfaction, alongside improving placement, performance evaluation, and workplace conditions, is critical for achieving optimal employee performance.
