Introduction

One of the main aspects of the current state of Internet services in the educational process is the use of cloud technologies. Cloud platforms allow you to store a large amount of data, provide quick access to educational materials, electronic libraries, laboratories and other resources. This significantly facilitates the process of exchanging information and coordination of actions between all participants in the educational process.

Video conference and streaming services also remains as significant component to facilitate real time interactive lectures, webinars and workshops in case the students and teachers are not located in the same area. This creates new opportunities for Distance Learning, alters the format of educational programs, and increase the availability of targeting a vast number of people.

Personal locker or student model and related learning management systems (LMS) also have their place in the contemporary processes of study. These systems enable one to plan and schedule lessons and control student attendance as well as their submission and usage of assignments and other learning materials and give and receive feedback between the students and the tutors. The ability to integrate such systems with other Internet services allows forming a single educational environment that ensures the support of the educational process and its improvement.

In addition, social networks and specialized training platforms also made their way to the organization of the training sessions. They provide forums for interactions, to share working surfaces or work spaces and case sharing. edu active participation students critical thinking and teamwork skills forums to engage students educational process .

Flexible educational technologies also occupy a serious place, they can help to develop individual educational paths for each learner based on artificial intelligence technologies. This makes the learning process more flexible and productive as the teacher will address students’ needs, their preferences and prior knowledge into consideration.

In addition to the benefits identified for providing Internet services in the educational process, it also has some difficulties. Among them such as challenges that relate to financing of cyber security services, safeguarding of student’s and teacher’s information, avails of technical support to areas of need and access to the required resources. To counter these barriers, organizations will have to search for ways on how to make the educational services as much as comfortable and safe as possible.

Internet services have also merged with our daily lives being a guarantee of the accessibility, speed and delivery of various services. Now let’s consider what type of Internet services exist and what are the main classifications on offering.

Methods

Educational platforms. Thanks to such services as Coursera, edX and Khan Academy, the percentage of students, who take education online is rising dramatically. They teach virtually any subject- from computer programming, to art history. Such platforms help students to receive the education from different countries without leaving their home; more, educational process is adjusted to the time schedule and personal preferences of a student.

Means of communication. The communication has now shifted heavily towards the social-networks and messengers. The websites namely; facebook, Instagram, andLinkedIn offer provisions for sharing data and social contacts. Telegram, WhatsApp, and alarm personal messenger applications offer features of both messaging and voice and video conversations.

Cloud storage. Software applications like Google drive and one drive, drop box and many more have become the norms when it comes to sharing and storing files. These are data security; flexibility to work using any device; and the opportunity to work on the document in real time.

Banking facilities and other services on the internet. PayPal, Revolut, Stripe and many other apps help to keep track of expenses and perform terminal commands. They perform payments for products and services , cross-transfers between accounts and convenient means of tracking expenses.

Entertainment and streaming. Internet has brought drastic changes on how society consume media products. Popular online service like net flicks, Spotify and you tube offer thousands of movies and TV series, music and other videos by different genre. These platforms personalize recommendations which are made possible once the user makes preferences known. E-commerce. E-commerce. Due to availability of services from Amazon, eBay and even AliExpress, e-commerce is a part of our daily lives. They enable a person to buy goods without physically having to tread physical shops due to their broad product list with home delivery options.

Health and fitness. Most applications and services are designed to provide important information on the way to lead a healthy life. Some of such applications include MyFitnessPal for Nutrition, Fitbit for Physical activity, and Healthily for general Personal Care.

Professional tools. Because of this there are special Internet services of professionals from given fields. For instance, we have Slack and Microsoft Teams for enhancing team interaction, whereas jira and Trello are used for enhancing interaction with projects and tasks.

The emerging of Web 2.0 technologies has introduced the novelty, the use of online platforms for the conduction of classes. They make a lot of convenience to teachers and students, supplying many a lot of tools of communication and cooperation.

Thus, using the opportunities of the Internet is one of the main advantages of its usage as a platform: distance learning is possible. During the development and expansion of globalization and digitization where countries and continents boundaries are almost non-existent doing lessons through the Internet is tremendously convenient. It gives a chance to obtain previously inaccessible knowledge and educational materials to students from the remotest corners of the Earth. Social sites also offer flexibility in planning since the main reason some people play at school and that maybe with work, family or other commitments. Every website and app designed for learning usually has many features for communication and interaction including video conferencing, chats, forums, quizzes, and tests. Interaction is known to enhance learning, through the provision of questions and answers where students can participate in . Video and audio materials are valuable for developing the variety of ways to explain the subject, for making tutorials more visually comprehensible.

Result and Discussion

Many learning management systems used with educational platforms enable the teachers to automatically mark homework, tests and assignments, thus saving a lot of time and minimizing on likelihood of making mistakes. For the first progress can be made to monitor their performance, second, to gain feedback within time, and third facilitate the setting of objective academic goals. Maintenance of educational content is one of the important tasks that many online platforms contain. With its help, you can form a database of lessons, presentations, lectures and other materials that will be freely available for students. That is, this kind of storage system ensures the flow of the learning process and lets the student work, reproduce, and reinforce the material at his or her own convenience. As well, modern Internet environments may be interconnected with various educational services and applications, for instance, e-books, simulators, laboratories, and other resources, which contributes to the diversification of learning.

Other issues include protection of data that is shared through the online platforms. The majority of them shows reliable protection of private information to ensure its confidentiality and to save customers from hackers or leakage.

Open lesson platforms give a great number of opportunities and means that contribute to the enhancement of educational process, its accessibility and correspondence to the requirements of contemporary students and teachers. The occurrence of such platforms offers prospects in learning with each learner having an opportunity to study in a flexible environment. In today’s educational paradigm, the lesson delivery platforms ensure the presence of affinities between the teachers and students irrespective of the geographical locations. They include but not limited to, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet as some of the leading platforms people use for online classes. In these platforms each of them possess strength and weakness on its own..

Zoom is the most frequently used application for conducting classes online based on its high level of reliability and utmost convenience. I have gathered a number of examples of teamwork within the context of this platform: creation of virtual rooms that gather people with similar learning interests, recording of lessons, compatibility with other systems of educational management, etc. To date, the main benefits of Zoom include stable operation, high-quality video and audio transmission and clear navigation for working with the program regardless of the preliminary technical preparation of the participants. Nevertheless, the mentioned platform has its disabilities. For example, in the free version, there are limitations based on the length of a session which involves more than three people, it can only last for 40 minutes at most. Also, Zoom has provided its users with poor security, and it has opened the platform for multiple vulnerabilities implying that nobody should trust it.

As a module in Office 365, Microsoft Teams include many other Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to enhance the creation and sharing of learning materials. At the same time, the results show that the platform used allows real-time interaction that is crucial for learning. Definitely, the benefits of using Microsoft Teams can be listed as the structuring of channels by classes and projects, and an opportunity for wide customization of the notifications and participants’ engagement. But the organization of the interface of teams can lead to confusion to people who are new into the Microsoft team especially due to so many options and settings. The second disadvantage is the heavy load of the system with many people involved, and, in some cases, it results in slow functioning and failures.

Google Meet is a part of Google Workspace and is quite simple and can easily be integrated with others Google products like Google classroom, Google Drive, and Google calendar. This makes the platform particularly appealing for the schools that are already using other products of Google. The benefits of Google Meet include, the fast connection of the internet, free access to integrated features of a video conference, and simplicity of the application. However, it should be mentioned that Google Meet has quite a strong data security option with daily updates and advancements. But there are also its drawbacks. Unfortunately, in contrast to Zoom or Microsoft Teams, Google Meet provides comparatively limited interaction between the participants, which is also an issue for those educators seeking for ways of formatively assessing or facilitating interactive forms of knowledge transfer. There is also a negative feature that through all the functions, you may need to have a Google account.

All the described platforms – Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet-are unique and have features that are beneficial for an educational institution or teacher based on the needs present. The method of delivery should fit a certain learning environment, the technical literacy of the participants, and the technique of training delivery.

Remote learning systems like moodle, blackboard, canvas, etc are effective tools of management of learning in learning institutions. They facilitate efficient interaction between teachers and learners, the adoption of learning resources and generally enhance the quality of Education.

Blackboard is an effective, yet commercial tool, which finds its application predominantly in universities and organizations. It has a good number of tools for learning process management, for example, integration with video conferences, the use of tools to manage students’ progress, and flexible learning. Blackboard also has social learning commerce interactive tools that promote the educational society. Consistencies in security and reliability place this scheme in a position of advantage for businesses that cannot afford risks and instabilities.

Described as a tool created through instruction, Canvas is yet another favoured LMS that is equally striking for the interface that is as sleek as it is minimalist. It also supports linking to various kinds of educational application and services by implementing LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) profiles. Designed in a very flexible manner to allow for course changes, it also includes automatic assessment procedures and opportunities for students’ collaboration. Teachers can easily post content and be involved in publishing a lot of contents and respond to students frequently.

This paper also finds that features that relate to integration of these platforms with elements outside their system have significant relevance in their operations. For instance, all the three platforms allow integration with learning resources libraries to enable students to access the learning resources they need within the LMS. Moreover, integration with other services like e-mails or calendars contributes to structuring of the learning process as well as informs about the time remaining and the learning schedule. The capability of these LMS range from one to another but the following are universal – multiple user support, course authoring and administration, assessment and feedback features, communication and collaboration tools. These platforms also facilitate the mobile applications which will let the students and teachers to be connected from anywhere and also they can manage their own educational process.

Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, and other virtual learning environments remain to open new opportunities and tools to enhance learning environment. Of it can be concluded that combine and have functional-spatial characteristics make them an indispensable assistant in the conditions of the modern world of Education, creating a new learning-teaching perspective. In the present day context, cloud services are an essential part of the organization of information storage and collaboration. Services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive become an appendage to both work and study environments as these give the user easy and reliable ways to interact and share data. Leveraging on these services changed the approach to sharing files/working on a project across different geographical locations and/ or different time zones.

It can save, share and collaborate files and folders with other users, plus it has the features linked to other Google services like Docs, Sheets, and Slides. It enables the user to simultaneously write, which is quite helpful in the case of teamwork, and share the document editing. A basic access control system ensures file sharing together with efficient management of a group’s collaboration without compromising the security of the data in contention.

The consumers of this product have confessed that Dropbox is a very reliable product, and very easy to use. Its chief benefit is the ability of counting different devices by files and give the access to the necessary information even if the connection is lost. It also includes tools such as the ability for different user groups to edit the same File, Save versions, and even revert to previous versions simultaneously – handy for group project collaborations.

Further; OneDrive is highly compatible with other Microsoft products for example the Office suite of products including Word, Excel, Power point among others. It makes organizing work with documents easier and more comprehensible when their creation and management are integrated. OneDrive also has more detailed collaboration features including more detailed document editing and access to the file all at once. These cloud services are very useful to share learning materials and also as support for collaboration purposes among the teaching staff. Students and teachers can conveniently transfer lectures, presentations, research and other teaching aids in a file format without worrying of data loss. As all data is stored centrally, you can be in charge of where all data is stored with the help of Cloud storage. It supports real-time update and real-time comment that enables the research teams to participate a discussion wherever they are.

Cloud services are nowadays an essential requirement for educational institutions and students as well as other actors in the digital society. Not only do they facilitate an easier means of swapping knowledge but also assist in training team work and enhancing the value of educational activities. Considering tools like Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive, education is more engaging, and makes new educational prospects possible and preconditions for new achievements.

The use of IT technologies has been gradually advancing in the educational process of the universities in the present time. The general introduction of internet services into the educational system expanded various opportunities for students and teachers and enhanced the convenience and quality of Education.

The current state of use of Internet services in the organization of training sessions present substantial development in the domain of Education. Information and communication technologies have become an important component of the educational process, which can potentially lead to the creation of a comfortable educational environment that meet the needs of learners enhancing their all-round development, and preparing them to face the complex world.

Internet services encompass almost all facets of life and thus make everything easier to accomplish. It means that they can offer all the tools needed and with different features that let each user choose the one that corresponds to his or her aims and preferences

Conclusion

In place of the conclusion, we can say that the introduction and use of internet services in higher education institutions provides tremendous opportunities for the modernization of Education. They make it more comfortable, efficient and flexible, meet the needs of modern society. However, it is important to maintain a balance between traditional and new forms of education in order to ensure the comprehensive development and training of students.
